How to Provide Full Email Headers for a Suspicious Message
Thanks for forwarding the suspicious email to helpdesk@metroymcas.org. To help us investigate further, we’ll also need the full email header from the original message.
Open your mailbox in a web browser at https://outlook.office.com.
Find and open the suspicious email you already forwarded.
In the upper-right corner of the email, click the three dots (···) → View → View message details.
A window will open showing the full Message Details.
Select all the text, copy it, and paste it into your open ticket update.
💡 Tip: If you use a different method to check your email (desktop app, mobile app, etc.), the steps may look different. You can search online (e.g., “get full email header in [your email app]”) or ask your favorite AI assistant for instructions.
